Hi all, as most will be aware by now, one of the club’s cherished daughters passed away recently. Paige Greco joined SKCC in 2015. She was a regular on many of our road rides, however her true passion lay on the track. In 2019 she moved to the institute of sport in Adelaide.

From here her career went from strength to strength culminating in Two track gold medals. But Paige wasn’t done. At the Tokyo Paralympics she brought home a Gold Medal as well as a World Record.

Paige’s career was cut way too short but it takes nothing from her accolades on the world stage and her place in Australian sports lore.

As a tribute to Paige we will commemorate her time with the club and her stellar cycling career with a commemorative ride at the next Velo Vendridi this Friday, 28th November. Black armbands will be supplied by the club and we encourage all our members and guests to wear them in recognition of a life cut short but well lived.
